Monica Martini, MA, LCMHC, NCC, CCMHC, CCMC, RPT

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor–Supervisor (LCMHC-S), Registered Play Therapist–Supervisor (RPT-S), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and Certified Clinical Military Counselor. I am a trauma-focused therapist trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Levels I and II, which integrate body awareness and somatic processing in trauma treatment.

I am trilingual and bring a multicultural, developmentally informed, and neurobiologically grounded perspective to my work. Much of my professional life has been dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. I remain deeply interested in how people grow, adapt, and make meaning of their experiences.

My therapeutic framework is integrative, with a strong foundation in psycho-dynamic, relational, somatic, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches. I focus on how early relationships, trauma, and embodied experience shape emotional life and patterns of relating. When helpful, I incorporate cognitive and skills-based strategies such as CBT and DBT as supportive tools to strengthen regulation and facilitate meaningful change.

When working with adults, I explore how early experiences and relationships shape emotional patterns and identity, while helping individuals build lives that feel grounded and meaningful. With children, I integrate play-based approaches to support emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy development.

Above all, I offer compassion, attunement, and a sincere commitment to helping you restore emotional and relational well-being.

Outside the therapy room, I love cuddling with my cats, volunteering at the regional animal shelter, and exploring different cultures—whether by traveling abroad or simply enjoying food from around the world.
